Health & Safety

Oilflow Solutions has a Certificate of Recognition (COR) with the Alberta Association of Safety Partnerships and is also registered with ISnetworld and Complyworks.

At Oilflow Solutions Inc. we are committed to the health and safety of our employees and protection of the environment. We believe this is an important principle if we are to be successful as individuals and as a company. This policy statement is intended to outline the measures we will take to meet our commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment (HSE).

  1. We recognize that taking proactive steps to prevent accidents and pollution is the right thing to do, and commit to reducing accidents, emissions and generated wastes.

  2. We will commit to comply with or exceed applicable laws and regulations, standards, codes, and by-laws for health, safety and the environment. When appropriate we will develop standards of our own, which may go beyond minimum legal requirements.

  3. We commit to the principles of employee involvement, consultation and accountability at all levels of the organization.

  4. We will make HSE considerations a priority in our business plans, work practices, operations, and new developments. Health, Safety, and Environment is a company wide responsibility. As such, it is the responsibility of the Management Team to make HSE an important priority and commit the necessary resources to achieve our objectives. Employees at all levels are expected to carry out their responsibilities and cooperate towards success in these efforts.

  5. We will promote communications amongst employees and the public so that Health, Safety and Environment are integrated throughout the organization.

  6. We will develop ongoing employee training and awareness programs to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities, in sustaining good health, safety and environmental practices.

  7. We will review our actual performance against established HSE objectives and targets, and use internal audits to verify our commitment to best practices and continual improvement.
