Jeff completed his undergraduate studies in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Huddersfield in 2001 a period during which he also worked at the Company Research laboratory of BNFL (British Nuclear Fuel) on a 1 year Scholarship.
He then completed his PhD in Materials Science at Sheffield Hallam University developing a novel non-destructive method for characterizing pore lining minerals in oil bearing rocks. Subsequent Post-Doctoral studies concerned the development of novel polymeric products for sand consolidation in reservoir rock amongst other oil filed based projects.
In addition he has been involved in industrial consultancy and the development of clay-polymer nano-composites. He has extensive experience in thermal, spectroscopic and analytical characterization methods such as PLS. He joined Oilflow Solutions in 2004 and manages the day to day operation of the Research & Development projects as well as providing technical support to both Operations and Business Development.
