Oilflow Technical Services has worked with third parties such as Intertek and has also gone through a Management of Change process with major oil and service companies.

It has concluded that Wellflux presents no issues with existing batteries.

>> How does Wellflux Separate from Heavy Oil?

• Wellflux is water soluble and separates with the water phase

• Wellflux remains in the produced water and can then be recycled and reused

Oilflow staff recently spent several weeks monitoring Wellflux-treated heavy oil at a recent Lloydminster well. Monitoring included studying separation in the production and sales tanks on location and at the battery after oil was shipped. With close monitoring of the well, including sampling, testing and battery treatment, the well presented no separation issues.
