The Challenges:

Originally producing at a rate of 11.0 m3 per day, this Peace River horizontal well is Oilflow Solutions’ longest running well. Wellflux, through its coiled tubing injection technique, demonstrated a 42.8% decrease in torque. Through on-site staff monitoring, production has since averaged 16.0 m3 per day. |

Torque Reduction of 42% |
Wellflux reduced torque by 42.8% within a few days. Torque decreased from 2,320 to 1,345 psi while the client was able to replace recycled hot water with Wellflux and improve performance. |
Pump Speed Increase 79% |
With a pump speed baseline of 128 rpm, the 42.8% torque reduction, Wellflux increased PCP speed to 230 rpm - nearly doubling its original rate. |
Production Increase of 45% |
By reducing torque and increasing pump speed, Wellflux increased net oil production from 11.0 m3/day to 16.0 m3/day with production sustained for over a year. |
