The Challenges:

Originally producing at a rate of 11.0 m3 per day, this Peace River horizontal well continues to be Oilflow Solutions’ longest running well at over 18 months. Wellflux, through its coiled tubing injection technique, demonstrated a 42.8% decrease in torque. Through on-site staff monitoring, production has since averaged 16.0 m3 per day. |

Torque Reduction of 42% |
Wellflux reduced torque by 42.8% within a few days. Torque decreased from 2,320 to 1,345 psi while the client was able to replace recycled hot water with Wellflux and improve performance. |
Pump Speed Increase 79% |
With a pump speed baseline of 128 rpm, the 42.8% torque reduction, Wellflux increased PCP speed to 230 rpm - nearly doubling its original rate. |
Production Increase of 45% |
By reducing torque and increasing pump speed, Wellflux increased net oil production from 11.0 m3/day to 16.0 m3/day with production sustained for over a year. |
