Wellflux is applied in the wellbore application and significantly increases heavy oil production typically by 100% or more while reducing operating costs. Torque energy can also be lowered by up to 80% thereby lessening environmental impact on a per barrel basis.

Additionally, Wellflux is winter-ready for cold weather operations and has the ability to optimize wells in environments as low as -45°C.

Some of our Wellflux users include:

Wellflux AI (annular injection) creates a low-viscosity fluid dispersion in the wellbore prior to the pump inlet. The bottom hole flowing pressure is reduced primarily as a result of a more effective and controlled drawdown. This increases well productivity from previously low or non-productive zones.

Wellflux AI can be recycled and re-injected at the wellhead, further increasing the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the system.

Wellflux CT (coil tubing) is an application where coil tubing is installed into the horizontal leg of a wellbore. Using CT in the horizontal section of the well allows the Wellflux CT chemical to be applied directly up to and including the toe of the wellbore which is least likely to produce oil. This technique allows for increased reservoir contact and increased mobilization of heavy oil from the lateral section of the well.

The objective of a Wellflux CT intervention is to assist the reservoir to increase its oil delivery rate.  In the case of a horizontal well this may be achieved by using Wellflux CT to increase the mobility of the produced fluid in the wellbore itself.

The application of Wellflux through coil tubing distributes drawdown more uniformly across the underlying water aquifer, rather than the heel of the well, thereby reducing the amount of water drawn from the reservoir due to water coning.

Well Reactivations: Wellflux is an effective tool for re-activating previously uneconomic or high torque wells.
